Different from the heavy-duty large-flow advantage of the 2BE series and the high-precision ultra-high vacuum positioning of the 2SK series, the SZ pump features universal working condition adaptability, gas-liquid mixed suction, intrinsic explosion-proof performance and ultra-low maintenance cost. 3. Working Principle
The SZ water ring vacuum pump operates based on the single-stage eccentric positive displacement ventilation principle. The impeller is eccentrically installed inside the pump body. A certain height of clean water is injected into the pump cavity before startup. When the motor drives the impeller to rotate at high speed, the water forms a uniform closed rotating water ring along the pump inner wall under centrifugal force, and the upper inner surface of the water ring is tangent to the impeller hub to form a closed gas-liquid separation structure.
During the first half rotation of the impeller, the cavity volume between blades and the water ring gradually expands to form negative pressure and continuously suck in external process gas. During the second half rotation, the cavity volume shrinks gradually to complete isothermal gas compression and exhaust. For each rotation of the impeller, the blade cavity completes one cycle of expansion suction and compression exhaust. The water between blades reciprocates like a piston, realizing continuous gas suction and stable negative pressure output to maintain a constant vacuum environment in closed containers.

5. Operation Specifications & Precautions
Bearing Lubrication and Temperature Control: Regularly check the operating condition and lubrication effect of rolling bearings to ensure smooth rotation. The normal operating temperature of the bearing is 15℃-20℃ higher than the ambient temperature, and the maximum temperature shall not exceed 55℃-60℃ to avoid high-temperature overload operation. Lubricating oil shall be supplemented 3 to 4 times a year, and the bearings shall be thoroughly cleaned and the lubricating oil completely replaced at least once a year to prolong the service life of bearings.
Packing Seal Maintenance Specifications: The equipment adopts oil-impregnated asbestos rope as sealing packing. Regularly check and compress loose packing in time. Replace the packing timely when it is worn and fails to ensure sealing performance. The packing compression degree shall be moderate; excessive tightening is forbidden to avoid overheating and abrasion, while loose installation will cause air leakage. Slight water dripping is allowed under normal working conditions to ensure stable sealing and operation.
Working Condition Restrictions: Applicable to non-corrosive, water-insoluble process gas without a large number of solid particles, allowing a small amount of liquid droplets to be mixed. It is prohibited to extract strongly corrosive, high-dust and viscous impurity gas to prevent abrasion of the pump cavity and impeller and ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment.
