1. Product Overview
The GBL vertical concentrated sulfuric acid centrifugal pump is a professional vertical pipeline pump specially developed for transporting high-concentration concentrated sulfuric acid. Adopting customized cast iron and carbon steel materials suitable for strong acid conditions, the pump forms a protective iron sulfate film on the metal surface in high-concentration sulfuric acid, achieving excellent anti-corrosion performance. With compact vertical pipeline structure, coaxial inlet and outlet, low vibration and zero-leakage hard alloy mechanical seal, the pump features stable operation, easy installation and long service life. It can be installed indoors or outdoors with a protective cover, serving as the preferred professional equipment for concentrated sulfuric acid transportation in chemical and metallurgical industries.
2. Core Product Features
Compact Integrated Structure: The impeller is directly mounted on the motor extended shaft with short axial size and compact layout. It occupies small floor space and reduces infrastructure investment.
Flexible Pipeline Installation: The inlet and outlet share the same caliber and central line, allowing valve-type inline installation. It has a neat and beautiful appearance and can be used outdoors with a protective cover.
High-performance Hard Alloy Mechanical Seal: Equipped with external premium mechanical seal made of new hard alloy and ceramic materials. It features excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, zero leakage and long service life.
Balanced Bearing System for Stable Operation: The optimized bearing configuration effectively balances radial and axial loads during operation, ensuring ultra-low vibration and low noise for long-term continuous operation.
3. Material Selection Basis & Working Parameters
GBL concentrated sulfuric acid pump adopts targeted special steel materials for different acid concentrations and temperatures. Steel can form a dense protective iron sulfate film in 80%~100% concentrated sulfuric acid, effectively resisting corrosion. Cast iron and carbon steel are not suitable for fuming sulfuric acid above 100% due to material brittleness, while dilute sulfuric acid below 65% causes strong corrosion to steel. Therefore, this pump is exclusively designed for high-concentration sulfuric acid working conditions.
Special Cast Iron: Applicable sulfuric acid concentration: 80%～98%; working temperature: 25℃～50℃.
Special Carbon Steel: Applicable sulfuric acid concentration: 80%～98%; working temperature: 25℃～60℃.
4. Main Application Scope
The GBL vertical concentrated sulfuric acid pump is specially used for transportation, circulation and transfer of high-concentration sulfuric acid.
