    • Commodity name: Heat Treatment Quality Control (Performance Enhancement Control)

Wear parts and stressed parts of slurry pumps require heat treatment to improve hardness, wear resistance and impact resistance. Improper heat treatment will cause component brittleness, insufficient hardness and shortened service life. Process parameters must be strictly controlled.

    4.1 Detailed Quality Control Details

Process Parameter Control: High-chromium wear parts adopt quenching and tempering processes. Strictly control quenching temperature, holding time and cooling speed, and accurately adjust tempering temperature to avoid brittleness caused by excessive quenching and insufficient hardness caused by over-tempering.
Hardness Sampling Inspection: 100% hardness sampling after heat treatment. The hardness of flow surfaces of impellers, guard plates and pump bodies shall reach HRC58-62 with uniform hardness on a single workpiece without local hardness deviation.
Deformation Correction Inspection: Detect deformation of shafts and castings after heat treatment. Correct parts with excessive deformation and scrap uncorrectable parts.
Process Record Keeping: Record heat treatment temperature, holding time, cooling method and hardness test data of each batch to form traceable ledgers.
