Slurry Pump Bearing Assembly - Short overhang, large diameter shafts minimize deflection and extend bearing life. Only four through bolts are required to secure the cassette housing in the frame.

1. Liners - Easily replaceable liners are bolted to the housing rather than glued to ensure a secure connection and easy maintenance. Hard metal liners are fully interchangeable with die-cast elastomers. All liners are fitted with elastomer seal rings after engagement.

2. Casing - Cast iron or ductile iron casing sections with external stiffening ribs to provide high operating pressure capability and an extra measure of safety.

3. Impeller - Pumping vanes on front and rear shrouds to reduce recirculation and seal contamination. Hard metal and die-cast elastomer impellers are fully interchangeable. Impellers are threaded cast, eliminating the need for inserts or nuts. High efficiency and high pressure head designs are also available.

4. Bushings - Conical contact surfaces during assembly and simple removal ensure precise alignment, reduce wear and simplify maintenance.

5. One-piece Frame - The strong one-piece frame holds the cartridge bearing and shaft assembly. An external impeller adjustment under the bearing housing allows easy adjustment of impeller clearance.
